    My 4000th Post

    Hi Guys!!!
This is my 4000th post, most of them here in the 57 section, so i thought i'd mark the occasion with a little something!!
First, a BIG thank you to all in the 57 section, especially our mod Mike, and all the "Rat Pack" members, old and new!!! Great guys and great friends!!!
I have'nt got anything new to show, and those of you who know me know i'm not a fan of the "group" shot, but i've found a compromise!!
Heres a pic of an S&L, Assmann, Deumer & Deschler EK1 altogether, i cant ever remember seeing the four main EK 57 makers together in the same shot??
So Thanks guys for making it a blast.....now onto 5000

Congratulations old friend! And, I'm very proud to call you "friend!"

You were the very first to befriend me when I visited here over four years ago and we've been good buds ever since. Something I'm very, very grateful for.

4000 posts and what a group shot to celebrate with!!! That is really a special group there! The photo is just beautiful too! The sun caught those beauties just right making them glisten and shine!

Thanks Nigel, for your passion for the field, for your faithfulness in helping other collectors and most of all for being such a good and faithful friend.

      Thank You Mike!!!!
That photo i took is quite special in more ways than one, the Assmann, and the Deschler are the EK's that you got for me a long time ago, still two of the best pieces i have, and a typical example of the friendship and generosity i have experienced here from you Mike, and the other guys too!!!!!!!!!

                Thanks Guys!!
I think the S&L in the photo came from Mathijs and possibly the Deumer too, so its a bit of a family re-union!!!!
                -Nigel!!
ps I think Luud is the next to celebrate a "milestone"

True, but I had a 7-1/2 year head start on you.
