    RKT Group

I will show you this week the 57's from one of my favourite RKT groups.
It consist of mainly very early 57's.
The nice part for me is that the group contains all possible miniatures and that he only had the RK in full size.

The wearer was a generalstaboffizier of the Panzergrenadier-Division "Brandenburg" in Panzerkorps "Grossdeutschland".

I hope you like them like I do

The minimedal bar is late and it doesn't contain the KC miniature.

I think that he bought it after he left the Bundeswehr and he wore it together with his full size KC.

Great collection. Everyone needs at least one 57 in the collection.

Almost identical, but also as early as they can get.

The 2 sewn ribbon bar types contain the flexible red plastic that I am used to see more often on the IMO very earliest bars.

Notice the differences in used ribbons and miniatures of the Romanian crown order According to the documents it must represent the 3rd class.

That was it for this week.

I know that you like these 57 miniatures!

You have great knowledge on foreign awards and their ribbons.
I know I have seen both ribbons before used on Romanian crown orders.
But do you have any idea why they used 2 different ribbons for the crown order?

                              Hi Luud!!!
What a wonderful grouping!!! Very impressive!!!
The RK is a very nice example, with super frosting!! A really great 1st pattern!! Interesting to see he didnt buy any other full size badges, or a medalbar, but both the chain and mini medals all look great! The honour roll clasp on the EK2 ribbon is really cool!!!
The ribbonbars look very early, especially the sew-on types, the stickpin is a nice piece too!
I'm impresssed by the quality of the Romanian crown orders, one of the nicest foreign awards that Germans recieved i think!! The regulations regarding that medal were hard to follow i think when the medal was awarded for bravery, the ribbon from another award (i think the medal for military virtue?) was substituted for the normal one, thats why it can be found with two different ribbons, i'm sure Matthias will know more!!
The whole group is a real treat for the eyes Luud, thanks for showing it!!!!
