    Horseman Badge

    Fellow Members,

Is this a 1957 version of the Deutsches Reiterabzeichen or is it of the Third Reich period?

I thought that a letter 'R' on a 'plate' at the obverse 6 o'clock position was the norm.

    Many Thanks.

I'd assume it was a '57 version for the reasons you state.

    Kind regards,

    Marcus

Reiter I think. This was not a period TR badge not TR officialy produced for the Nazi's, hence no Swaz. Or something along the lines of that.

You'll get more feedback in the political forum.

          Marcus, Jazz.

          Thanks for the input.

          I'll assume it's a 1957 version unless otherwise informed.

            Hag..
I bumped the most recent Reier thread over in the poltical awads section. A lot of the older threads are missing pictures...but the above is a '57 type. Perhaps Chris Boonzair will post Astrid's badge for comparison?

Thanks, I thought the pin back looked a bit familiar re: 1957 awards and it looks like it is.

              Appreciated.
