Luftwaffe Sea Battle Badge - Fake?

Good evening - I am new to collecting and have stumbled onto a Luftwaffe Sea Battle Badge. I'm guessing its possibly a fake as I know from reading that they really 'do-not' exist or if so, only a few were ever made. 1957 version? Thoughts/comments from the more experienced collectors would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help or advice - price of the badge is $1200

Welcome to the forum!!!
As your badge has a Swastika, it clearly isn't a 57er!!
So.....it is either a mega rare late war made badge, or a postwar fake....
The best place to post it, is in the Luftwaffe badges section, hopefully the guys there will give you their opinion on it!
