    Cased S&L Oaks

Thanks to Ray (Reichenberg) for letting me know about these
Heres a set of S&L Oaks, they appear to have the usual flaws, in what i think is their original case, i dont think they have been worn, maybe never been out of the case??
Anyway, have a look and please let me know your thoughts!!
Start with some views of the case, hinged, no front fastener, silk lid liner and hinge-cover, black velvet covered inner tray....034.JPG

Nice set Nigel. Now I see decent photos I almost wish I had bought them myself, but the dealers website pics were dreadful and it was difficult to see anything much. That case displays the oaks really well.

                    Hi Nigel!

I can't speak too much of the case, although IMO it looks like a nice early one. I can't really see the flaws on the oaks, but you know what to look for, so if you say they're there, then that's good enough for me!

For the case .... where the piece of leather is removed from the top, could have been an LDO logo - or just me being paranoid ?

On the oaks ... difficult to see the flaws due to the burnished finish ....
