    Frackbar Group

Hi Guys, i just got this small group of EK1 and medalbar. The medalbar was what i really got it for, as it is a Frackbar, worn at an angle with the highest ranking award at the top, it also has two very nice medals on it, a Deschler EK2, and a Romanian Order Of The Crown, the first time i've seen either on a 57 bar, though i think its possible this is the vets original wartime bar with the EK2 and Ost replaced???
    Anyway heres a few pics.......043.jpg

Heres some views of the medals on the bar, first the Deschler EK2, the nicest i've seen, still retaining its paint on the core, and with a nice "rainbow" patina on the frames....021.jpg

The Ost medal is by S&L, i cant show the reverse as it is sewn tightly to the bar.......023.jpg

The Romanian Order of the Crown, this is with swords and mounted on the blue and red "military" ribbon, again its sewn tightly, so i cant show reverse pic, but it has unforunately lost its cetre enamel disc on the reverse But its still a nice medal, and not often seen on German bars....

Well Nigel, I believe your comments covered it all .
An exquisite medal bar and indeed the first I've seen with the Romania Order attached to it.
But, how about that Deschler EK2 ... very rare to find one, let alone one in mint condition .

Where do you guys keep digging up good solid 57ers ?

Jesus, what a fantastic Deschler on a fantastic bar

I really love that romanian order on that one.....a foreign award makes this bar very special and this is a great looking award.

The sources are not dried out.....very nice pieces can be found.....as you show here

But the combination of a Deschler EK & the Romanian Order made this one i could'nt miss!!!

                        Some nice medals, congrats

Nice to see a deschler where the paint is still in good condition.
It seems you want to buy them all.
There is one for auction at the moment and is still at 1 euro....so maybe you can extend them with one more

I don't know much about the Romanian medals but it is the first time that I have seen a Romanian Crownorder on a bar while it lacks a Rumanian crusade medal against communism.

All the Crownorders that I have are similar but are different to yours.
You might want to check and compare with a wartime medal.
I will show you one of them:

The Crown Order on my bar, is it Knights class or Officers??? Theres so many variants
