Another Deschler EK2

Thanks to our good friend Rudiger, i was able to add another Deschler to my collection!
This one looks to have had the core repainted at some time, and knowing how these Deschlers dont keep there paint very well, i'm not surprised at that!!
Great patina to the frames, looks very similar to a wartime version!!
As usual, non-magnetic core, three piece construction, frames very well finished and filed, up to the usual Deschler standard!!
Also came with a short length of wartime EK ribbon!!121.jpg

I think Deschler could be my favorite 57 EK maker!!!

Another Deschler?
How many do you have by now, 3 or 4 ?
And wich EK variant don't you have yet?

The paint on these Deschlers don't seem to be as good as the ones from Assmann, Deumer and St&L. So it isn't a huge surprise to see the repaint wich doen't look to have been done recently.

To answer your questions Luud, i have 3 Deschler EK2'S. but only one Deschler EK1.
I'm not sure if it was the paint Deschler used or the non magnetic core, but for some reason, the paint on a lot of Deschlers has not stood the test of time!
As for missing variants, thers still a few i know of, and probably more i dont!!
One variant i'm missing is an Assmann EK2, i'm also looking for a blank core Souval EK1, with an S&L style frame
