Hi George!! It looks like a perfectly good Steinhauer & Luck 2nd pattern RK!!
Not the earliest, but still well made, non-magnetic core etc. should think it dates to the early to mid 1970's.

I never noticed these cuts in the outer corners at S&L RK´s .....is that now a C-frame or have we here a unknown frame ???

I think to see the known beading flaw at 4 o´clock arm.

Core looks S&L for me too.

Hi Rudiger, i've seen, and owned a couple of 70's non magnetic RK's by S & L, that have the same frame as this one, i think its a different frame altogether from the "B" or "C" frames.....later!!!!

          Thanks Nigel

so it can be that there is a 3rd frame for the S&L RK´s...maybe starting in the 70s when they probably started producing with the unmagnetic core ?

Strange that i never never noticed that

Hi Rudiger, thats what i think, but thats no guarantee its right!!!!!
But i dont think those cut marks in the corners of the frames could have any link to the "C" frame, more likely to be an all new frame IMO, i dont have any in my collection now, so i can't check, but i'm pretty sure the beading on the frames was flawless!!
It might be worth having a look at RK's dating from the 80's/90's etc. to see if this frame with the corner cuts was used right up to the latest production??

I'm not sure... I never really trusted the RKs with the "corner cut" frames.

                Remember THIS thread?
