Deschler EK1 ...

The last posted Ek is IMO not made by Deschler.
Although the hardware (also used by other herstellers like for example Rettenmeyer) is nice to compare.

IMO Nigel's WWII EK1 is made by Robert Koch AKA maker 24, and is actually fairly rare, and very nice.

Nigel, is there a little piece of silver soldered to the hingeblock that serves as a (very unusual) stop for the pin?

Hi Trevor, unfortunately, i've sold all my Third Reich period EK1's, so i cant confirm your observations!!
Am i right in thinking that Deschler did use this hardware setup, on their latewar EK1's???
I thought i had some pics on file, but cant find them
