    Deumer Medalbar??

Hi guys, had to go a long way for this one, its only a 2 place medalbar, EK2/Ostfront, but the EK is a Deumer, and the Ost is the broad rim type, which i am starting to think is also by Deumer...........medals 523.jpg

The ribbons are quite loose, and its easy to see under them, i was hoping to see a "3" on the Ostfront ribbon ring..... but i'm afraid not!!medals 532.jpg

EK 2 is typical Deumer, loose rattling magnetic core, MM'd "3", as they nearly all seem to have been, and no sign of any frosting, unlike early S & L's....medals 524.jpg

And finally the Ostfront, broad rim style, unmarked, with the same glossy paint finish as the one on the medalbar from the SS Panzer grouping.
          So is the Ost a Deumer??????medals 531.jpg

That's a great one Nigel with a story behind it for sure! Not too many Deumer EK's on bars correct?

Correct Mike, at least i have'nt seen many, i think Pierce had one, theres a couple in the old threads, but thats about it, 9 times out of 10, the EK's on a medalbar are S & L!!

That is really a honest bar. Well worn and although the combination is not unusual that bar has something special what is hard to describe.

                    Good catch Nigel

There are two things i like about it, one is the worn condition, and the other thing is the Deumers instead of the usual S & L's!!!
