And a few views of the Spange, which looks like a nice early one, with well painted EK core, and polished highlights.....medals 625.jpg

                Nice setup Nige.

Your EK2 is a Meybauer frame (same one they used on their 1939 Schinkels) with a core I've not seen them use before. But core-swapping in Imperial times was pretty common, so it doesn't surprise me, either. I would call it a Meybauer EK2.

On a side note, Meybauer sometimes marked 800 on the ring, but never anything else that I've seen.
                Best regards,
                Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

                    Great combination of WW1 and WW2 in a 57er version ... I like it .
