An early beauty Nigel! Interesting to see lines extending downwards from the S&L "O." Curious! I like everything about it. A good looker with the ribbon and judging from the looks, they've been together for a long time. Excellent pickup my friend!

Just thinking.....are these "0" marks the S & L MM, or are they locating marks to help the guy soldering the pin???
            Any thoughts???????

Maybe they are both ... but on these little gems, I would rather think they are marks made during to fabrication for some sort of alignment to keep the piece in one place ...

Thanks Mathijs, heres another tasty stickpin, that also has those vertical lines on the reverse of some of the pieces that Mike noticed, the "0" marks seem to turn up anywhere on a piece, and in different sizes.....GBI0028a.jpg
