Mini Stickpin to a Highly Decorated Fallschirmjäger

Hey friends,

Look what the postman (actually a chick) brought me today! Thanks to my invisible friend for pointing me to it! I'm quite excited over this addition! It tells a story doesn't it? If only one could know the full story of the man's life and how he earned his place in history.

The man was an FJ who fought in Russia (likely other battle fronts too) earned the ISA in Silver, EKII, EKI, endured at least 30 days of close combat, was wounded at least three times and was also awarded the DKiG! The quality says it's a pretty early example. I hope to put the soldaten's name with it someday.

BTW-this was one of those eBay cheapies we talked about the other day Rüdiger! Sometimes you get lucky! The pic the seller had was terrible! I wasn't sure what I would get!

Great catch what fits perfect in your collection Mike
That mini tells more than every other standalone award.
Those mini´s or ribbon bars are a summary of a soldiers life and very impressive.

Thats one impressive stickpin Mike, that guy certainly earned some bgi time awards, one tough cookie i should think!!
I hope you can find a name to go with this one, that would make it even sweeter!!
