    Opinion about DKIS 1957

    Kind time.
What it is possible to tell about a sign?

    The sizes: 64.64 x 64.82 mm.

Hello Dmitriy, nice to find you here . Hope you are well.

Seeing the overall poor quality of such piece = modern production

    * Rivits are wrong
    * No red enamel ring ( looks like paint instead )
    * Catch is modern production - most likely similar for hinge ( side shot would be helpfull )
    * Backside ... looks like some-one used some sandpaper on it to give it more aging look

To summarize ... I would drop this one and look for another .

Hello Matthieu! I am glad to see you!
I am glad that you have responded. I already thought that the answer I will not receive!

Thanks for opinion. The sign too has seemed to me very strange therefore has decided to specify.

Simply saw DKIS on sale here (at in you theme) the sign had considerable differences!

      I thank for opinion!
      All the best, Dmitriy!

      P.S.: Look PM

        Hello

This looks like one of the later made pieces from around the late 1970's or 1980's. While clearly not up to the quality of the earlier pieces, (the better ones have a red enamelled ring under the wreath rather than the red painted one, as this one appears to have), I have seen far worse than this. The back hasn't been sand papered or aged, and the rivets are fine for a new form DKiS out the late 1970's/1980's.

Personally I'd still give this a miss, and wait for an earlier, better example. The new form DKiS are not seen for sale as often as the DKiG, but they do come up now and then.

        Regards
        David
