57er Cholm and Narvik gold

I finally could add these two shields to my small collection.

The Cholm is a "textbook" one, if we can say that about 57er , has exactly the design shown in the book from Krantz.
After one year of searching for this one it was the first i saw for sale and i had the luck to grab it
Measures 66,20 x 40,10mm / 14,65 gr.

The Narvik shield is ia very shiny, highly polished one. It´s really impossible to take a good photo from it
The backside shows that it was gilded after the prongs have been attached, so this should not be a later production (i hope )
The colour of the gilding is exactly the same as on my very early KM pieces.
Measures 66,20 x 39,10mm / 12,24 gr.

Two new pieces i´m very happy to have in my collection.

Its always a good feeling when you finally land one that you've been after for ages, your patience has paid off!!
Nice details and good finish on both shields, i think the Cholm is my favorite, but i like them both!!

The design of this cholm has been used of make copies of the TR shield but the die is another - there are some differences

Hoorah for Rüdiger! Finally a Cholm shield and not just any Cholm, but a BEAUTIFUL and early Cholm shield! VERY NICE!

The KM Narvik also appears to be early as well. The strike on each is VERY crisp!
