    OAKs with Swords & Diamonds

    Hi All,
Please help,... some time ago I have found this oaks on the early 57 S&L KC,
I have them removed because I thought they were fake...
But now when I saw the photo from Sepp Dietrich wearing little bigger OAKs that are usual S&L,
I thought maybe they are worth something ??
They have silver mark 900 on the loop.
I ask for your opinion? Are this OAKs 57 version or just another copy?
    Thank you!
    Regards
    Sasha

I believe that the piece is from the 1970s or perhaps the 1980s. I would expect some polishing of the higher points if it was from the 1950s.

      Peter, thanks for opinion.
OAKs was almost all black from patina, I have cleaned them
The first I think they were a gold grade, but after cleanenig they come out silver...

Nice set for display purposes. Personally, I would not have cleaned them (but don't worry, they will tarnish again!). Could be 60's, but with things like this, you'd never really know.

Very nice Souval copies from the 1970s.

Here are Sepp Dietrich's Oak Leaves Swords and Brilliants that he wore after the authorization of the 1957 patter awards.

Bob, thank you for recognition of this OAKs.
Is there any possibility that Seep wearing original OAKs?
Because if I look this picture I realy doubt that he have S&L oaks on the picture?

He wore the brilliants I posted above. They are not the St&L oaks posted on the other thread. St&L brilliants are the size of standard OL&S. Dietrich's were larger, multi-piece, and made for him.
