    Highly awarded bird

It was recently posted here and I bought it for the fun when it came for sale.

Today the small General von Parrothoffen wich had the RK already (as most of you know already) was so brave that I thought that he deserved the EL w/s and DIAMONDS.
He was very succesfull in protected my wallet with by all means (biting, screaming and so on) while my young nephew tried to grap some coins from my wallet.

I still have a crappy camera, but here he is while he grabbed the EL.

      Now the funny part.
With it's 5.4 gr, it is really havy and I think that it is indeed solid silver.
The diamonds shine like real diamonds and am not able to test them well,
But I wrapped the el against a lightbolt and scratched very easily like it was butter.
I was not able to get a scratch on the same bolt when I tried it with a new stanley knife.

I think your little general is female. Diamonds are a girl's best friend...
Indeed very strange that you could scratch it. Maybe you hit the jackpot Luud.

          Best wishes

Thanks guys, he is still proudly playing with it.

I have no idea what it is. I do think the diamonds (in brilliant form) are real.
Maybe I will let it tested.
I thought that I bought a simple fake for the fun (I won it for 50 euro).
But this mini is IMO too well and too expensive made for the porpose to fool someone.

So I have no idea what it is....but it is a nice looker.

I did manage to borrow it from the brave parrot and make a picture.
I only wish that I had a camera like our German friend has.

But I am afraid that I didn't win the Jackpot with it.
It consist of only 1 euro of silver and the diamonds? are so small that they are hardly valuable.

I made a picture of the EL compared to my ring to show that the diamonds are VERY small.

Haha! The Little General is awarded yet again for bravery!

What a great addition Luud! Perhaps it was inexpensive to manufacture, but isn't that true of most if not of all of our treasures? It's the history and relative rarity that makes them collectible and special and this piece is both collectible and IMO VERY special!

He must have survived a harsh battle with the neighbours cat to win such award .

The highest awarded parrot in the world, an example for outstanding bravery

This mini looks very good IMO, very well detailled from what i can see but sadly no better pics avaiable and my microscope is miles away from this piece .
Optically the diamonds have the correct cut and donĀ“t really look like a cheap copy IMO.
A very well piece what i really would have bought too Maybe you got the Jackpot

                        Hello

Herr General is doing well with his chosen career. I dare say he's ruffled a few feathers along the way though

                        Regards
                        David
