    Heinz Behnke RK

    Here are some photos of the cased RK of RK Ritterkreuztrager Heinz Behnke's 1957 RK. A member of the NKFD he joined the Seydlitz Secret Army in October 1944, member 2823.The cross is a 800 marked S&L , 3 piece construction of excellent quality, with minor die flaws on 9 o clock arm.The piece has a magnetic core and is currently on sale in Estand.

              Kyle, that's a very nice early 2nd pattern RK there! FYI - the 2nd pattern RK's usually trade for around $400 USD.

                This comes with a case and a very rare membership card of a small clique of Officers so that has to be taken into account.

                  Gentlemen,

                  What did Heinz Behnke do after when he was released from the Soviet Union?
                  By that Knight's Cross that I seen,he returned to West Germany. A few Germans who were members of the NKFD,did join the Bundeswehr.

                        in autumn in Italy 1944 ! ?

                        I remember that the "N.F.D." is only in Russia ! Or im wrong ?
