    Reproduction ecc.

What you are writing is right. Many old collectors in Germany say Souval made
Medaills, Crosses ecc. from War to the late 60.th year with the original plates
and maschines and it is very difficult to see the differents. You know many Soldiers throw there Medaills away after stop War or they lost it in the POW
Camps or they chanced it for food or Cigarrets.

In later times 10 or 15 years after War Souval produced the old Medaills ecc. for Veterans who lost there items .... . The market was mixed up with this items - but today they are realy rare.

When you are going on a old things market here you must know a lot of things
about collecting German medaills ecc. Thing are mixed up with new and old parts - or you see better fakes us the original was made off.

And then later 60 th to 70 th it become a collectors run to old War II things.

Today this items become raff very raff. Many things are fake and produced in
    the Ukraine ecc.

The newest fake is the Winter War Medaill - 100.000 and more where given to Soldiers...... - attention when you will buy ... see the Helmet and Material !

Also the 57 Modells become rare - no never new production - because the Man
who get this ..... are retired - or are going to death.

This is the same with original crosses ecc. . The international collecters buy out the German market - they are placed in Russia ecc... .

When you will know good German dealer - write me personal - I collect myself
    more then 35 years.

I also think its possible that one or two other firms in Austria may also have made small numbers of new form pieces for vets, i know Friedrich Orth are still in production today!!
Little seems to be known about any Austrian produced 57 pieces, its a very grey area, with information hard to come by!!
      Cheers David -Nigel
I agree! Austria is more than just Souval.
