FANTASTIC group, Mike. A lovely piece of 57 history.
Congratulations on landing it. Also a big hands up for the seller. If only all contacts were like that.
Here's a link to more information about his unit:

Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful EK2 Mike, looks to be in top condition!!
Also completes the grouping very nicely!! It is indeed a great piece of history, most attributed groupings are to RK or DK holders, but this one tells an ordinary soldiers story, he might not have been famous, but a brave man nontheless! At least his achievements wont be forgotten, unlike countless others, the grouping has gone to a good home, where it will be appreciated and looked after
Also credit to the sellereusa_clap.gif you dont find many good guys like him around these days!!

Thanks gents! Special thanks to Stijn for the link to Herr Bozenhardt's information. BTW-Stijn, I love your avatar with the Heinz ketchup word play on 57's!
It's a nice felling to have the complete group. The seller is a very nice person for keeping the group together. I admire that greatly!
Thanks again for the feedback and kind words!

Thanks for the compliment. Two weeks ago i saw the logo and immediately made it my avatar. 57 is an obsession when you start linking food to the hobby.
Best regards

Hey Mike,
First, congratulations on this group, it's great. It's a bit unclear to me from the postings... is this the original EK2 from the same group?
The whole thing is very, very nice. I hope you can find a nice way to present it.Best regards,

Hi Trev and thanks!
According to the seller of the EKI this is the EKII from the group.
I have not yet come up with a good way to display the group, especially because of the docs. I can put the medals in a small shadow box like my big case, but that leaves the docs in a drawer. I'll look at the collection display forum for ideas as time allows and I'm always open to suggestions.
