    Period ads for 57 manufacturers

Ok, so rather than adding them to another thread, I decided to start a new one. First page lists the title, author and date of publishing...the period 57 reference!

Wow, Juncker, Deschler, and Deumer here. These are all Deumer pieces, with the aledged Deschler DK. With Juncker listed, I'm not sure if they actually made 57 pieces, OR the new form West German awards...

Again, not sure if they really made this one or not...

Very nice George, thanks for showing

Is it known if Juncker made or sold any 1957 items?

Luud, to date, I have not heard of them being a 57 manufacturer, and being that they were allegedly bombed out in WW2, it's interesting to see them back in the game again in '58!

                Very nice, indeed, George!

After years in the shadows, 1957 certainly was a good year for these companies.

                Great selection of awards!

Very interesting - why did you put the u-boat clasp to the Assmann pieces?
Is it an "A" marked one? Haven´t seen a 57er u-boat clasp with an eagle, looks more like a denazified one.

I like the book, i´ll search the web for it

Trevor, yes, I'd recommend it as it shows images of all the new form awards.

Rudiger, search this forum and you'll find what you're looking for on the clasp - http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...highlight=Boat as it was posted before.

Good question, but unfortunately, I don't know; outside of S&L, I'm not sure how long the others lasted. Interestingly enough, I have seen US captain's bars before made with by Assmann with the 'A' logo on the reverse. Kind of ironic that the they were making insignia for the other side, but then again, they were a business looking to make money after the war, like any other.

Trevor, let me know what you think of the book when you get it. Did you find a copy on Amazon?
