Yes, it's a beauty. I bought it (for a bit lower price )

But i don't believe in the Deumer-Theory. For me it makes more sence, that it is S&L's 1st pattern GAB. My research on this theme (where i used a photo of your Deumer GAB as reference, Mike [hope it is o.k.]) you can find here:

welcome to the best 57er section worldwide I think most of us have their problems reading german and only we two and Stijn have a SDA account.
I read your theory this morning but have now not enough time to get deeper in that, but later
But it´s an interesting theory and sounds logical.

Maybe you can upload your pics via an external file hoster at first, so that all can discuss here.

I would suggest to start a new thread here to discuss your ASA theory.
You made some interesting observations but since not every member speaks German, not everyone can follow and give there input. Just a suggestion of course.

As Rudiger rightly stated, this is the BEST 57er forum going! The $25 membership is WELL WORTH IT! Then you have full previlidges including posting pictures and access to great and experienced minds in all sections of the forum!

I don't mind you using pics of my badge on another forum, but please do post your theory here too. We're always trying to learn and understand our collecting field better!

No, i don't collect only '57er awards - to be honest i just started to collect them.

I started with collecting S&L (or so called S&L-Design) awards of WWII but got more and more interested in their early '57er in the last month.

I'll open a new thread where i wanna show that the badge which started the thread imo isn't a Deumer.
