    Deumer ek1 variants

After studying Deumer EK1's for a while, i've noticed there seem to be three main variants during the relatively short production run!!
The very earliest crosses have a matt painted core....medals 448.jpg

The reverse hardware looks to be all wartime leftovers, with a wide hingeblock and the elegantly shaped pin, slim at both ends with a wider middle...medals 449.jpg These can be found both marked and unmarked!!

The catch, made of round wire, is the same as wartime production, and is the same on all Deumer 57ers....medals 452.jpg

The hingeblock is unchanged, still the wider style, but the pin is now fatter, with less of an elegant shape to it......medals 456.jpg Again, these can be found marked, or unmarked....
