    And thats about it, after this date, we get the change to non-magnetic cores, cores painted after assembly, and finally the dreaded sandblasted frames!

            Yes Mike, thats what it seems, I've never seen a domed hingepin on a very early 50's S & L EK1, only on 60's pieces!!
