          Thanks Y'all

But you guys made me depressed.
I was in the undestanding that I only became 39 years.
So I calculated and it is indeed 40. Bummer.

But I will show you my present I got from my wife.
It didn't make it on time to get here, but I will show you the picture from the member she bought it from. It has been posted before a while ago.
I hope you like it like I do, I really love those salty ribbon bars.

No I will worry about how I will get all those six packs of beer in the refrigirator.....and how to get them empty

That is one spanking bar Luud!

Could your wife have a talk with my wife and set her straight on what a guy like me wants for his birthday? LuckyLucy seems to have it figured out!

                    Have a good one Luud!!

                    That's a hell of a ribbon bar.
I wouldn't like to have encountered that soldier when i was driving around in a enemy tank.

Now i know why your nicky is Luckyluudje. You are a lucky man to have a wife like that.
Mine just doesn't even understand why i have this hobby...
                    Enjoy your day.

Perhaps WAF can add a "meeting section".... you know : Militaria collector is looking for understanding girlfriend .
Blonde / about 25 years old / high end paid job are a bonus .

I can see many of us (the married ones particularly) getting into a LOT of TROUBLE with a section like you describe Mathijs!!!

                          You guys are funny.
But I think Peter will get very busy if he has to moderate a Dating Section on the WAF.
We better wait till he finished his book

But it is not only sunshine. My TR collecting still doesn't get any support.
So I am stuck with you guys

But I am glad you guys like the ribbon bar.
I like it a lot. The most interesting is that the person served the RAD.
I had no idea that a few RAD devisions had seen such a heavy combat to recieve the awards till I read this thread with amazing pictures:
                          http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...+russia&page=5
You can almost imagine a person in Russia with the Shovel in his left hand and a Panzer wreck in his right hand.

                              Great looking bar, Luud!

By the way, my g/f supports all my collecting interests, and it's great When I got a new EK recently she took it from me, inspected it, and said: "Hmmm, magnetic and three piece. New form... 1957 re-issue variety. pinback. Unmarked but seems to be an S&L core. Very nice," and handed it back. I was very impressed.
                              Best regards,
