Hello
Finally i was able to pick this baby up at the post office. When i opened the package i had a coup de foudre, love at first side. This badge truly is a piece of art and an exemple of fine kraftmanship.
It is rather heavy, she weighs 35 grams. To align the hinge with the catch they soldered the needle not in the middle as usual but to the left to make it fit. On the side you can nicely see the sheer marks of the cut out. As i said a beauty. The only problem there is, is to capture it on a pic ...
One question: I was wondering how they did the colour of the waves / water. Does anybody know the method that is used?
Enjoy!
