Adding one more ... its actually a recently acquired early halbetui ... needed another one to fit this DKiG .

I really like these halbetuis .... it makes the DKiG "glow" ( lacking some vocabulary here, guys ) more .

Very nice Mathijs!! I've got to agree with you, these early halbetui's are some of the nicest cases IMO!! banana.gif
I think its true to say that awards such as RK/DK/EK etc. always look nicer cased, especially in a really early one!!

                  Hello

Great, early DKs (I'd say very early 1960's, as in 1960 - 1962) and super wartime parts halbetui cases I've had quite a few DKs over the years, and have to agree, these halbetui cases really do show them off to perfection.

                  Regards
                  David

A very nice addition Mathijs! My happy DKiG needs a home as nice as this one!

You're exactly right that a case like this adds another dimension of value and appeal to a DK! Nice work as usual!

This mint looking beauty has been shown here before, but changed hands recently ( big thanks to David ).

A textbook example of an early wide-pin S&L made DKiG, housed in a lovely postwar 57er halbetui ...

And as lovely bonus ... most of these early pieces have a blue-grey color ... this one has the more scarce bronze look to it ...
