But the funny part is that my Wife don't let me and she is the one (together with Mike ) that keeps dragging me in.
Actually she is the one that is buying me stuff and tries to show interest!

Here is the latest she bought for my (actually four) collection.

You make a valid point, Luud. I've noticed that lots of forum members are chasing the same items. The only outcome is that we drive up the price and make only the vendors & dealers happy ... pure economics, that is.

I assume we all have our "sources" when it comes to finding decent items ... sites like eBay are monitored by all of us. Most dealers are known ... It can only get more difficult to find nice quality items are reasonable prices ...

Is there any solution ??? Maybe we can make a thread within the 57 forum where we offer items for sale & trade. I know we have e-stand, but perhaps it would be better to have a "market place" within our small community . Or we can keep our wanted list in our signature, as most are doing now .... .

Some have been doing so already, but I don't think we can not go for the same pieces sometimes. More than one will want a nice piece and the competition will naturally ensue.

I can assure you that if a nice FJ piece comes up and I don't have it already, you better get your reserve funds out and have them ready cuz I'm bringing the pain!
