Hey George,
Nice stuff!
I just wanted to ask about the EK1 case, as I was under the impression that 57er cases did not have the push-button release mechanisms, as yours does. If I'm not mistaken, Peter Wiking told me this when I asked him about another case, but he may have just been referring to that particular model.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Hey guys, thanks! First off, these are all duplicates so no worries on having some missing holes in the collection! Great question on the case. As with other early ones, it's possible this case was made from leftover WW2 stock. I used to own a cased EKI that one started out as a case for a WW2 KVK! They had applied a cover over the original, and the stamp was still legible beneath it. This one came cased, along with some other early 57's so I assume it was always a set.
