57 era cuff titles? Do they exist?

Hi Guys,

Did our German friends recreate the Kreta & Afrika Cuff titles for use after the war for wear on their uniform dress jackets?

If so can you please post some photos of correct 57 examples.

To my knowledge cufftitles were not reissued in 1957. As they had no "offensive symbols" they would not have needed to be redesigned in the New Form manner.

I do see dealers offering 1957 cufftitles from time to time. I think they do so in error.

Hi Vince, I share Mike's vision on the cufftitles. What would be the point for re-issueing when no "forbidden" symbols.
Thomas Huss is selling both the Kreta & Afrika 1957 issues for the moment. Up to buyer to decide if genuine or not ...

There was no need to reissue the cufftitles, because none of them had a swastika or a reichsadler on it. So all cufftitles, who will be sold now as 57er pieces, are only copies.
But i would put them into my collection when i could get these pieces for a low price (max.10€)
