Up for your review is a nice West German officer's cufftitle. Not an award really, but kind of a neat piece for officer's. It was all of $20 USD for I couldn't pass it up. Photo'd on top of a magazine with Hartmann and Barkhorn getting similar bands in a ceremony of some sort in 1961. For fun, I've thrown in one of my ribbon bars.

Nice bullion, officers cufftitle there!
I've long appreciated the manner in which the Germans honor their military hero's by naming units after them. That practice continued into the Bundeswehr era as this cufftitle illustrates.

Very nice bullion cufftitle I have a few of these, Richtoften, Boelcke, Steinhoff, Mölders etc.
