    Hello

A very nice and impressive group. Could you please post some close in photos (here on the 57 forum) of the fronts and rears of the 57 RK, DK and EK.

    Regards
    David

Thanks for posting these. Can't say I've ever seen a set of OL&S like that with the finished swords on the reverse. Anyone else? The loop is also very unique.

                          Hello

Thanks for posting these photos. Decent quality new form EKs and RK

George, the only oaks and swords I have seen with detailed reverse hilts etc are war time originals or post war made pieces purporting to be war time. However, it is possible that these were a privately commisioned piece to replace a lost set of originals, although the only known privately commisioned items made post war that I have seen all have plain, flat reverses, e.g. Erich Hartmans OLS and diamonds.

                          Regards
                          David

                            Hi,
The oaks and swords are badly made copies of an S&L set IMO.
                            Cheers

IMOP the RK itself looks like something from the late70's early 80's.
