    57 KVK1 W/S Factory Vaulted

    Hello

I received this 57 version of the KVK1 without swords the other day. The piece is much, much better 'in the hand' than these photos suggest. It has burnished silver highlights, all it's frosting and is factory vaulted. This actual piece is featured in Gordon Williamsons new KVK book.

As usual, any comments or observations welcome.

    Regards
    David

I love the frosted finish on there with the burnished highlights. I've never seen another vaulted KVK before. While on the subject of KVK's, has anyone ever seen one with a WW2 style pin, or a straight needle before? I haven't.

          Hi David
That is a nice cross. Deumer as far as i can see. Very early manufacturing.

            Hello

            Thanks for the comments

George, is the attached photo of the reverse of my 57 KVK1 with swords anything on the lines of what you mean when refering to the pins on these?

            Regards
            David

Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about! I like the hardware on the back of that KVK.
