    Austrian veterans

Here are my post war EK's by Souval. I got the informations that these kind of EK's are for veteran meetings in Austria. I got all my EK's from Austria, too.
There are more than one versions. The main different is the magnetic or non-magnetic core. The treatment unfortunately isn't the best, therefore I would say these kind of EK's are only a small serial by Souval.

    Regards

    Daniel

Interesting. Why would the Austrians need a plain version? When I was a student in Austria (1972-73), they openly wore their original medals with Hakenkreuze. Also, the shops openly sold Nazi items.

I would say between 1946 and 1956 it wasn't good to show a Hakenkreuz in Austria, too.
