    DKiG group

Just want to share my latest find. I got the awards directly from the family. These are my first 1957 awards and i have no idea about them. DKiG looks like made by S&L or am i wrong?

I got the awards as a present but i want to give the man´s wife money for them. So i would like to hear some comments about the awards value!

I don´t want to sell them - they came from a 24.ID veteran!

    Thanks in advance
    Christian

          Hi Christian,
wow, a really perfect group. To identify the DKiG maker, we need good pics from the backside.
          Regards

Congrats, it´s an early made Steinhaüer & Lück. The condition is really a dream.

                      Hello

First of all, congratulations on an absolutely superb group If you have the owners history and can attribute them, then they even better.

The DKiG is, in all probability a very early S&L made up of war time parts (and yes, for some there is always the debate in background, did S&L actually make DKs during WW2), but there are a couple of other variants by different manufacturers of these early 57 DKs. Can you post a clear, close in, full face photo of the rear please, or if not does the rear set up on your DK look like mine, as in the photo below? If it does then you have a beautiful very early S&L 57 DKiG. Let us know.

                      Regards
                      David
