57 versions of the 2nd & 1st Class Bars to the EKs

I have just received a set of the 57 new form versions of the Bars to the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st class.

The 2nd class version is to the left in the photos.

As usual, any comments or observations welcomed.

The 1st class looks like a later made piece with the matte finish and lack of burnishing to the bar. The earliest examples look more like the one on the left with burnished/frosted finish.

Thanks for the comments and information. I had it in mind that the later produced 1st class ones had a longer pin, which tended to stick out beyond the edge of the clasp. Or have I misread / misheard something?

It could be that they just forgot to finish the piece correctly. It is manufactured well before 1970 in my opinion.
