    57' EK rarity stats!

I thought that since we now have totally 57' forum and an increasing interest to the general area, I should start up a new stats thread. This stats includes all 57' EK's, so share your 57' pieces and increase our knowledge of the field! I'll handle the upkeep as always and give you regular updates once I feel enough data has been assembled. So.. ..for starters here are my 57 EKs:

1 SL RK with Oaks and swords; non magnetic, double marked "925"
1 SL RK Oaks; nonmagnetic, marked "925"
1 SL RK, non magnetic, unmarked and cased
And one of each modern S&L production; 1&2 classes and 1&2 cl. clasps, all non magnetic and unmarked.

Remember that your continued support is what keeps these threads going.
    Thank you for your time.

    Hello

    I currently have:

A very early cased RK. Magnetic core, 800 marked, non dipping eye. The frame exhibits the 'die flaws' associated with the early ones of these. Manufactured by S&L
Early EK2. Magnetic core. Wartime frame and ring stamped '3' for Wilhelm Deumer.
Early EK1. Magnetic core. Wartime frame, pin, hinge and catch. Marked 'L/11' for Wilhelm Deumer.
A late production cased S&L RK with oaks. Non magnetic core, dipping eye, poor paint work, (painted after assembly).

I also have another early EK1 on its way. I provide details when I get it.

    Regards
    David

              Hello

You can add another 57 EK1 to the stats now.

57 EK1. Made from wartime frames, pin, hinge and catch, magnetic core. Unmarked but clearly identifiable as manufactured by, or using parts from, Wilhelm Deumer.

              Regards
              David

                Here's my lot so far

                1) KC - Otto Schickle - marked 800 on the reverse
                2) KCs - 2 early core S&L's, one later core S&L w/swords
                3) EKI marked L/11
                4) EKI unmarked, but made from leftover parts
                5) EKII marked 4 on the ring
                6) EKII single parade mount
                7) EKII no maker mark

                Cheers

To make things orderly (hopefully), I'll try to divide that crosses to three different classes according to their time of production. Let's see how this goes, shall we?

                  Summa Summarum part 1

                  Early

                  S&L
                  RK
1 cased, very early production. Magnetic core, marked "800", non dipping eye. The frame exhibits the 'die flaws' associated with the early 57' RKs
                  2

                  EK2
                  2, marked "4"

                  Wilhelm Deumer
                  EK1
1 with magnetic core. Wartime frame, pin, hinge and catch. Marked "L/11"
                  1 marked "L/11"
1 made from wartime frames, pin, hinge and catch, magnetic core. Unmarked but clearly identifiable as manufactured by, or using parts from, Wilhelm Deumer.

                  EK2
1 with magnetic core. Wartime frame and ring stamped "3"

                  Otto Schickle
                  RK
1 marked "800" on the reverse

                    All 1957-style, unmarked:

                    1x EK2, magnetic core
                    1x EK2, non-magnetic (but I gave it to a 34th W-SS vet who didn't have a "PC" one)
                    1x EK1, magnetic core
                    1x RK, non-magnetic core.

                    Pitiful "collection", ain't it!
