Sorry for bumping up this very old thread but i´m on shields at the moment and have a question about this one
This variant with the black painted? backside....can we say this is a very early one I personally would say YES - but appreciate your comments and opinions

My understanding is that this is one of the very early produced pieces. Later ones have a bare, sort of shiney back.
