Well I was very pleasantly surprised today by my lovely wife who purchased a medal for me that I had commented on. She is a keeper! (Both the medal and my wife!).

This is probably the nicest one of these I have seen!

Yes I can now really appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of these early pieces vs the later pieces. The frosting on this one is quite beautiful. I have not received the actual piece yet as my wife just purchased it yesterday. I do expect to receive it in the next couple of days. When I do, I will post better pics of it on a black background to make the frosting stand out even better. Pattex, I guess you will have to just keep searching, this one is all mine!!! lol

Now to find an early 40yr.
