WW1 EK2 with spange on Austrian Trifold

This guy has some nice pieces for sale so I’ll post this one too. Looks really nice, thoughts?

Its not a 57 period (post WW2) EK2, but a much earlier piece, the EK2 Spange is a later S&L piece, the ribbon also looks later but hard to say for sure.... The individual parts all look fine, its just a matter of wether they were put together by a veteran, or a collector?? My feeling is the latter

I think the cross is WW1, and you are probably right about it being put together by a collector. I might buy it to sell the items separately.
