    Hi guys have compared this badge to another Souval post war and in my opinion this one I post could have a chance, look forward to hearing from you, regards, Juan

      Hi Juan,

      The hinge block on this one does appear to be Souval as well as the pin. I would say that this may be an early Souval based on the straight pin. There may be other Souval collectors that may give opinion on this and confirm as I am not an expert in these by any means however based on the early confirmed Souval badges that I have in my collection, this appears to be of same design. So I would say yes to an early Souval.

              Well that may be a difficult question to answer. I have seen many many fakes of these particular badges as with any badge, and to find one like this is what I would consider to be a good find.

                It is a very nice Souval, the catch is one of theirs, cut to size to fit the space available!!!

                      Anything on the badge magnetic? It looks like it may be a Tombak alloy (peeking through on skull) with a silver wash.
