Please, let me add a few facts.
There was an official military shop of the Bundeswehr, the "Kleiderkasse für die Bundeswehr".
There were price lists with the offered articles since October 1957.
The first list (Preisliste Nr. 1) had only a short hint on page 5; see the picture
(Orders and decorations are kept in stock.
Medal decorations and ribbon bars are made at the cheapest prices.)
The last price list with the decorations before 1945 is from 1989.
There you can find originals nach 1945 (e.g "Bundesverdienstkreuz"), 1957er decorations ("Ritterkreuz", "EK I", "EK II" and many others"), and copies ("Eichenlaub zum RK", "Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen" and others).
The next price list is from 1992, without the decorations before 1945.
The last veterans had left the Bundeswehr, and it was a normal procedure not to offer these awards after 1992 anymore.
