    Opinion about 1957 Knight Cross

    Dear collectors,

for quite some years now I own this 1957 Version of the Knights Cross.
After reading Mr. März's book carefully i know quite some Details About the war time models.
But there is not so much Information About 1957 versions around in the Internet.

Is there a Chance that this is a late Steinhauer&Lück model?
silver Suspension ring is not authentic at all, i know for sure.

    Kind regards, Fabian

I'm not convinced - to me this is an one-piece casting of an St&L RK.

It sure looks like a casting, Is It magnetic?

It does look as if it could be a casting from an original piece...
Have a look around the outer edges to see if the frame is made in two separate pieces, with a join line between them...a photo of this area would help too!!

            Hello,
there seems to be a seperating line on some edges.
but on some other there is no line visible... might be filled up and polished?

            And it is non magnetic.

I'm still saying cast-copy .... can you post pictures of the inside of the cross arms ?
If it's three piece made, you should be able to slide a piece of paper between core and frame.

                Your are totally Right.
There is no free space between silve"frame" and the black core.
So obviously it is a cast and no 3 parts Knights cross.

                best greetings, Fabian
