The DK's currently sold by S&L are much better than this for a lot less money!!
The earlier pieces are far superior in quality to any later made examples, though obviously the price is higher...
If you are only planning on buying one DKiG, I would recommend paying more for a better quality, earlier piece!!
Of all the 57ers sold on E-bay.de the DK seems to be the most faked of all!!!
Look through the many threads here on earlier DK's, and look out for such examples!!!

Does S&L still make RK’s and DK’s? I don’t see them on their website.

You want a DK for more or less the going price through a dealer here you go.

            A nice early one.

You wont see any 57ers on their site, you have to contact them privately, and if you are lucky, they will send you a pricelist!!

They apparently stopped making them just a few months ago, according to Simone Blechen, as the “market was too small and the professionals for production were no longer available”.

That's very interesting to hear...if true???
A couple of years ago, 2 members each contacted S&L about 57ers.....
One received a pricelist, ordered pieces and got them.....
The other member was told "we no longer make or sell 57ers"
They can be a strange bunch at S&L

Yes i was successful. In two lots, i purchased cased RK, cased RK with Oaks, cased RK with Oaks and Swords, EK1, EK2, DKIG, DKIS.
it was quite a tedious process as i had to make an iban bank transfer from memory - the bank fees added quite a bit as did postage, however the items were very nice. I sold them all on here about 12 months ago.

There was a beautiful mid-production specimen with case, all in absolute mint condition ( but in the wrong sales section ) ... I made the chap an offer and it was accepted.
