    Possible St&L Legion Condor BWB ???

    Hi guys,

    Recently purchased a few postwar items, all were listed as reproductions.
    In this lot, seemingly a Legion Condor BWB was listed ( as repro ).

    Looking at the hardware, it reminds me of later / mid production by St&L.
    As for the rest of the badge, the details are somewhat soft though.

    What do you guys think ... reproduction or possible postwar St&L item ?

    Looking at the hardware, it should be an S&L piece!!
    The hardware is a mix of early (pin) and later (catch and hingeblock) but this is not unknown on later S&L pieces!!
    Is there any toolmark on the pin, just below where it join the hinge???

      Hi Nigel,

      No tool-marks whatsoever. Just a tad different, as the pin is somewhat sunken inside the hinge block, very strange.
      Details are quite soft, but I've never come across a postwar swastika wound badge, nothing to compare against.

      All in all an interesting piece for sure ! Lets see how other see it.
