Yardlong Fort Bragg NC

Hi All,
I picked up this nice all original ww2 yard long photo, 250 men in all, the caption states

BTRY. C 3RD BN. 1ST. TNG. REGT. F.A.R.C. FORT BRAGG, N.C
LT F.J HANCOCK COMDG. 8TH CYCLE 3-4-43

can anyone help with the translation of all this? I know its a field artillery unit, how can I find out more detailed information on where they went and fought.

It's a training school class picture. These men would most likely be sent out to other units as replacements. The training unit itself probably remained at Fort Bragg for the duration.
