WW2 US B-15A Jacket for review
This is a very early Buzz Ricksons effort from about 1992, which is extremely good, but not as good as what they now offer. The biggest telltale sign is the zipper, which is not the correct type for a B-15A jacket produced in 1945: this should be oxide brass with the bell-shaped puller of the era vs. the 1990's zip seen on this example. Additionally, this zipper's stopper box at the bottom is stamped "CANE'S," which is in reference to the Japanese vintage-themed American workwear brand "SUGAR CANE," also owned by the same parent company as BR. Though this stopper box is the correct configuration for 1941, it is not for 1944-45, and for 1941 it should have "TALON" stamped on the banner where "CANE'S" appears; at the time this was made in the early 1990's, BR was not getting precise copies made of 1940's zippers as they have been for the last 25 years.Originally posted by supperpotato View Post
