Looks like and old soap box derby helmet (if you are too young to know what that is look it up) that some one painted.

It looks like some kind of riding helmet. Because it has the patch of the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam painted on it I would post it over in the Indochina section. Maybe someone there would recognize it.
