Howard M Fox was born on November 21, 1922, and died on October 24, 2005.
He started his Army life at Jefferson Barracks , St Louis, Missouri on January 18, 1943, and is now buried in the National Cemetery at the same Jefferson Barracks.
A member of the 79th Division, he earned two (2) battle stars, and the Combat Infantry Badge, as well as the Purple Heart for being wounded.
Sadly, his military insignia was removed from an album at some point, and discarded.
I was lucky enough to salvage the remains.....
