Forum members, I purchased a USAF named plaque who according to the information on it says he served in the Korean war.....It also mentions he enlisted in 1940, which of course means he was in uniform during WW2...His name is Cyrus G. Fouts, service number 160122207.....I found his name on the http://wwii-enlistments.com website, but little information is shown......

I'm curious as to whether or not any body can tell me more about him.....I know he was from Omena, Michigan.....Born in 1916 and died in 1991......Any help appreciated as usual......Bodes

Leigh, Thank you for the additional information...I was hoping he may have been a pilot, seeing since he did have some college education....But your information mentions he went in as a private in the air corps....I would be curious as to what his miltary job might have been....Bodes
